About Solera Studios
Solera Studios was founded in 2012 to provide for clients who require a single point of responsibility with the expertise necessary to provide whole systems design for high efficiency sustainable homes, buildings and communities. We care about the earth and its people and strive to establish the necessary balance between them to ensure that our children can continue to be a part of the American dream we have all enjoyed. Our clients enjoy the benefits of in-house expertise that extends across the boundaries of multiple disciplines.
David earned degrees in civil engineering technology and architecture and has taught and practiced architecture 25 years before founding Solera Studios. He is a American Institute of Architects professional and earned status as a LEED Accredited Professional, a Certified Passive House Consultant and is Permaculture Design Certified ; he is also a member of the Passive House Alliance and has been a member of the American Solar Energy Society & the the Fellowship of Intentional Communities.
